RELIGION & ONESELF

Each one of us is a RELIGION. A Religion is a way of life and each fathoms in a particular mode one`s way of life. This can only occur in accordance with a freely adhered to set of rules and regulations.Hence a disciplined manner of life intervenes in our daily behaviour. When one or more individuals are voluntarily in agreement over the same set of rules, a community comes into being.

_

Within our established concepts of freedom, this Community is at liberty to diffuse its beliefs and live by its principles [ Practice the Preaching ]. Under no circumstances must these sectorial beliefs be imposed on third parties who are not interested in joining such a Community. Third Parties should be free to join and at liberty to quit: this depends on the Community`s Rules which must be imparted lucidly to the would-be adherents.

This is the failure of the World`s principal Religions as there is the tendency to impose them on third parties who are not interested to partake of their beliefs.Hence why a Religion must not be concoted with a State: Religions do not mix with States......a State must be kept distinctly apart from a Religion, whatever the Religion. Jesus Christ was correct in His assertion, the Catholic Church is incorrect in not following its founder`s teachings. This equally applies to Judaism and Islam and all other Religions which envisage a State as an embodiment of a particular Religion.

The European Union is right in its stand that there should be no identifiable Religion with the Union nor with any Member State of that Union. Each State must not have any laws that in any way connect with or interrelate with any beliefs of any particuilar Religion. The representatives of a State must not confuse their representation with their personal religious beliefs. This goes against the fundamental concepts of Democracy. Religion is Personal - let us keep it that way, otherwise let us cease discussing Democracy.
