CALL FRESH ELECTIONS
"ANIMALS CRY OUT AN ALLURING
CALL BEFORE THEY SAVAGELY CONVERGE FATALLY ON THEIR PREY"
Cosmic Divinity.
The electorate are confused and disgusted.Our
Prime Minister is a gentleman but he has been duped by his own people.We
have a Minority Government which is governing our country when the majority
of the electorate opted against a Nationalist Administration.
There is no faith in this Administration despite a well-intentioned
effort by the Prime Minister to put on an acceptable Cabinet.There is
confusion within the Labour Party - the 48.7 % who voted for the MLP
under Dr Sant are disillusioned as their Leader has immediately resigned
and no one is aware as to who exactly is running the Party or how the
Party is being currently administered.
Two smaller Parties had their Leaders call it a Day in the footsteps
of Dr. Sant. What country is this, what Leaders do we have, can the
people have faith in our Political System and the ingrained corruption
that has become the symbol of the powerful in my country ?
The JPO Case no doubt is only the proverbial tip of the iceberg - resignations
from MEPA only followed after they were exposed; thus these resignations
in no way expurgate anyone. MEPA has long had its name discoloured by
abuse and corruption. Other individuals believe they can do what they
like in my country and political figures including a number of those
recently elected are openly seen with these dubious characters.
Malta wastes time hounding persons like Norman Lowell only because he
spoke his mind in what is constitutionally a free country;the real scoundrels
and scalawags are still usurping precious land, abusing of the laws
of our land, and even being elected to Parliament by a largely idiotic
electorate who are manipulated and who cannot sift the wheat from the
chaff.
This is the country, dear Prime Minister, that you are governing with
the common people grumbling and annoyed but feel impotent to do anything.
Let us get out of this mess with honour. Please call another General
Election, do not even convene Parliament but do not resign.
Let us have a fair and clean Election Campaign where each divergent
opinion will be given adequate space to voice its views and explain
its objectives.Demand that the Broadcasting Authority immediately resign
for the manner they treated the smaller fry with a mere five minutes
airtime to expose them to ridicule.
Let us halt having a Mickey-Mouse country and get down to serious professionalism,a
characteristic which is flagrantly lacking in our country where nepotism
and back-scratching are the supreme command of each day.Long Live a
Clean Malta & let us go back to the Polls for a just not a manipulated
result, where voters will be truly free and hear each and every opinion
before they go and vote !

CONFUSING POLITICAL SCENARIO
TO ALL AUTHENTIC DEMOCRATS - Liberal or otherwise:
IN THE NAME OF DEMOCRACY, PLEASE SPREAD THIS MESSAGE & LET IT REVERBRATE.

Known to one and all, there is a confusing political scenario reigning
supreme over our tiny Republic.The Political Sovereign, alias the Electorate,
are confused because over 50% of them voted against a Nationalist Administration
governing our country.
The Elected Representatives are equally confused because the MLP obtained
numerically a majority of Seats in the House of Representatives and GonziPN
have ended up obtaining legally more Seats with persons whom the Electorate
did not elect inserted as elected!
There is great discontent within the PN due to the manner the Election
Result materialized; furthermore, a number were not pleased with the Cabinet
as nominated by the Primus Inter Pares: [ my opinion is that Dr.Gonzi
made a wise choice which could have done with a bit more pruning - thank
you for bearing in mind the welfare of our Nation ].
There is amazement within the Labour Party [ which should
now alter its name to reflect Modern Malta in its divergent work and social
hues ] that its Leader called it a day and resigned in the wake of the
confusing election result outcome though before the complete electoral
picture was known. This was a premature resignation.
Labour should have called a Mass Meeting by way of a civilized THANK YOU
to the 48.7% voting for their Party.All the barking dogs ran away,leaving
dear Michael Falzon to face the Naxxar tension on his own.
Confusion is equally in the air as to who will be the MLP`s next Leader
while the hosannad Alfred of a mere few days back has already become history
emphasising the fickleness of humanity [ L`UOMO e` Mobile ! ].
The Leaders of two of the smaller Parties who however forked equally substantial
sums in their electoral campaign fizzed out almost on the heels of Dr.Sant:
no wonder the Political Sovereign is shaking its Electoral Head and raising
eyebrows wondering whether our politicians are only after Parliamentary
Priviliges and the Quest for Power !
Some of the much smaller fry who barely got a mention throughout the Election
Campaign are still there ready to give their small but significant contribution.
However, the Electorate is deeply disillusioned as no one has won and
no one has lost in the circumstances.Hence with a Minority Government,
the views of the Majority Opposition cannot go unheeded.
A National Conference should be called in due time to analyze the quixotical
outcome of Malta`s 2008 General Elections. The Political Sovereign have
an imperative right to know why their democratic wishes were not respected
and this under the fictional guize of a legal canopy.
