ALPHA Liberal Democratic Political Party is contesting two Districts in the forthcoming 2008 General Elections for Malta`s eleventh Parliament.

Alpha Leader Dr. Emmy Bezzina has submitted his nominations , the latest on Tuesday, February 12th, 2008, when at 1600 hours, Lawyer & Broadcaster Emmy Bezzina filed his last nomination, the other two occurring on Saturday, February 9th, 2008, when at 11.30 hrs.,Dr Bezzina on behalf of ALPHA submitted his Valletta Local Council Elections nomination; the second on Monday, February 11th, when the nomination for the First District was made : vide below.

ALPHA Liberal Democratic Party Leader, Dr. Emmy BEZZINA, at 1515 hours of Monday, February 11th, 2008, submitted his nomination on District 1 [ Valletta - Floriana - Hamrun - Pieta` - St. Vennera - part of Marsa - Gwardamangia ] , at the General Election Headquarters at Valletta.

Dr Bezzina intends to submit a further nomination on the Ninth District this Wednesday, February 13th, 2008, for General Elections 2008.

On Saturday, at 11.30hrs., EMMY BEZZINA submitted his nomination also for the VALLETTA Local Council Elections 2008, due also to be concurrently held on Saturday, March 8th, 2008.


ALPHA Liberal Democratic Party is taking this unique opportunity to unveil its new LOGO which depicts a futuristic vision of a modern, cosmopolitan, pluralistic European Malta prevailing in a true liberal democracy.

Alpha will not waste time criticizing other Political Parties - Alpha has a nationalistic vision built on international perceptions accepting the basic concept that we all belong to a Global Village where individualism is protected without ignoring the rights of third parties.
