It is a matter of days before re local electorate goes to the polling booth to vote for 5 candidates, who will represent he supreme interests of Malta and the Maltese and Gozitans in a European Parliament of a little over 700 members representing a number of political groupings which 3 of our political parties are bragulaly boring us to death by their fallacious reasoning that they appertain or will appertain to a particular political grouping.

2.This is nonsensical political arguing because it emphasizes an important factor that even 3 of our political parties which include the Nationalists, the Socialists and the Greens are deliberately conveying the wrong political impression on the electorate that the forth coming European Parliament Elections are no more than an extension of the local petty political scene into a wider arena covering a population of approximately 500 million.

Nothing could be further froin the truth because m reality this psychological political mentality that must dominate a prospective candidate for the European Union Parliament this to assess and evaluate the supreme interests of the country being represented and super imposing those on the related criteria within the parameters of the European Union Parliament. In that context, the member of the European Parliament ( MEP) will be in a position to communicate on the needs of the country being represented and requests remedies on that issue before the European Parliament and within the structures of the European Union Parliament with its laws and regulations which under any circumstances with few exceptions will reign supreme over the local laws and regulations of the country being formally represented.

4. That is why the Maltese and Gozitans electorate over the past few weeks have been taken for a ride by the PN, MLP and Alternativa Demokratika because particularly in the case of the Nationalist and the MLP they have been consistent in their lack of consistency and credibility, by not being genuine and sincere with the local electorate.

ALPHA the party the Political Party I was reluctant to form but felt a conscientious obligation to form it will depart in the most categoric of ways from our local Political malculture of not being genuine and sincere with the electorate by emphasizing that genuineness and sincerity will be the hallmark of this new Political Party that will respect the maturity and intelligence of the local electorate.

6. ALPHA has a number of issues on its political agenda, which the PN and MLP have regularly bragged under the 'Socio' Political carpet of the Malta scene. Such issues relate to the question of having a Divorce Law in Malta, rights and obligation pertaining to the many thousands who have opted because of our hypocritical system to cohabit together, matters that relate to the none discrimination among children born in and out of Wedlock particularly when it comes to succession rights, formally recognizing the rights and obligations of the many thousands of the same sex that want a way of life that will respect their human tendency, as well as respecting the dignity of Womanhood and Motherhood by eliminating from the Criminal Code the notion that Abortion is a crime, hence the decriminalization of Abortion which is not the same as stating as hypocritical minds have opted to state that ALPHA is in favor Abortion.

The Maltese and Gozitans and local residents voting for the European Union Parliament Elections will want candidates who are genuine and sincere and do not appertain to the deceitful, manipulative, arrogant and everiasious, as well as misleading mentality that dominate our two major Political Parties.

8. The PN and MLP have indeed fielded no candidates what so ever: They have fielded sixteen persons who without reflecting on their individualistic personal merits have been rendered mindless, voiceless and incapable of speaking their true minds because they have been made parts of a system which entails of them there rendering themselves political slaves of a system that deprives them of their individuality and personality. And what good may I ask do such breed of candidate can do in the supreme interest of my country and my people within the pluralistic and cosmopolitan concept of the European Union.

9. Hence why 1 have taken pen to paper and appeal to the substantial percentage of the electorate who bored stiff with the stupid and hypocritical antics of our two major Political Parties do not feel within them the need to go to vote, to reflect and ponder and know that this time they have an alternative to which they can resort, a new Political Party that is prepared to respect their intelligence and to give to Malta the European garb that it deserves.

10. Hence, my modest appeal is that rather than the electorate throw away their vote, let them go to any of the 570 polling booths around Malta and Gozo on June 12th and vote for my Party ALPHA where myself, a Lawyer and Broadcaster for many years, and Author and Journalist John Zammit are presenting ourselves as humble but worthy candidates that are prepared not only to represent your interests but to do so with genuineness and sincerity while respecting your individual intelligence and the needs that you will have your basic rights and remedies in your own Country without having to go round the rest of the European Union to obtain your basic rights as a European Union Citizen. Be Maltese and a European Union Citizen and vote for ALPHA, the first
European Political Party in our Country!!
